The American People’s Compact (APC) starts with a simple truth: most of us want the same basic things. We want an economy and a government that work for everyone, not just the wealthy few. We want health care we can afford, safe neighborhoods, well-resourced schools, accessible housing, and a fair shot to build a good life. Yet too often, our politics divide us, turning neighbors into rivals and putting special interests ahead of everyday citizens. The system isn’t working, and it’s time for a plan that brings us together.
The APC is a research-backed, nationally tested policy platform to rebuild and renew America. It’s rooted in our shared values and offers practical, common-sense solutions that lower health care and housing costs, raise wages, strengthen schools, deliver reliable and cleaner energy, make communities safer, and ensure transparent and accountable government. The APC promotes a vision for America’s future that includes everyone—serving every community, no matter who you are or where you come from. Tested nationwide and supported by 8 in 10 Americans, the APC offers a clear direction that speaks to all Americans: a future built by the people, for the people, and with the people.

Who We Are
The American People’s Compact (APC) began as a conversation between a husband and wife who, like many Americans, were frustrated by the state of the country and the lack of a clear vision for the future. We showed up in our communities and at the ballot box, but when we found no clear plan to rally behind, we set out to build one.
We want a government that works for everyone. Yet the system too often fails to tackle problems that touch us all. Americans deserve a plan that is achievable, popular—on both sides of the aisle—and focused on solutions. If those in power will not provide that vision, the people will.
Determined to move past division and inaction, we rolled up our sleeves and found others who shared the mission. What started at home has grown into a broader network of neighbors, educators, health professionals, blue-collar workers, students, and community advocates.
The APC is a practical playbook with solutions communities can rally around and leaders can adopt. We are new and growing. What the Data Says
Tested together with ~9,000 Americans, 8 in 10 Americans support the APC. It draws backing from liberals, independents, and conservatives, with data showing an 18% approval gain if adopted—far above typical policy lifts. The takeaway: common ground is real, and people-first solutions can unite the country.
